Cards, Crafts & Cooking by a Self-Proclaimed DeNami Design "Superfan"
(This is strictly a fan blog. I do not work for DeNami Design. I just love their stamps!)
It is the exact color scheme and theme of my card! I can't stand it! I'm so excited, I just have to show you the card now!
Green and blue are my favorite colors, but I wanted to go for something different and springy, so I chose PINK! Recently, the ever-talented Michele Gross posted a fantastic discovery. She layered the Harlequin Border stamp on top of itself, creating an argyle-like look. I totally FLIPPED over that, so I decided to give it a whirl. It's hard to see because I used such a light pink for the second layer, but if you look closely, you can see it.
I had a blast with this card. Originally, I wanted the tiered edges of the Harlequin Border stamping to show, but at the last minute, I just HAD to use the ribbons. Oh, and I'm addicted to masking now, which is how I stamped the polka dot border across the middle. I just LOVE to learn new things. If you ever come across a new technique that makes you squeal with delight, please let me know about it! Send me an email or simply leave a comment on my blog.
